Expression through Color and Form

"The function of art is do more than tell it like it is - it's to imagine what is possible"

~ Bell Hooks

"There is not a single true work of art that has not in the end added to the inner freedom of each person who has known and loved it" (Albert Camus). These words sum up why I work as an artist. I love color and design, the endless possibilities for interpretation and the need to share my vision and joy in creating art. Inspiration for working in this medium comes from many styles of the early 20th century, Abstract Expressionism, Cubism, Art Deco, as well as photographing nature in its symmetry and color. In creating art, I wish to bring to life visions of color and form that will inspire those who experience it.”
